David Beckham shared a sexy shirtless workout video on social media on Saturday after cheating reports resurfaced in a bombshell new book.
The 49-year-old soccer star used a pull-up bar to work out his sculpted abs, which he showed off on his Instagram Story.
“Thanks Bob for Saturday morning abs,” he wrote at the top of the clip, along with the word “strong.” He also tagged his trainer, Bobby Rich.
Beckham wore navy shorts and turquoise sneakers but no shirt, showing off his toned physique and several tattoos.
The captivating video follows the UK release of biographer Tom Bauer’s new book, “The House of Beckham,” which will be released in the US on June 25th.
In it, Bauer claims that the soccer star cheated on his longtime wife, Victoria Beckham, throughout their 25-year marriage.
While David is no stranger to infidelity allegations, a source close to the couple told Page Six that the posts are “highly reprehensible.”
“Victoria and David probably thought they had put all of this behind them,” the source explained.
David’s former personal assistant, Rebecca Roos, famously claimed she had an affair with the British athlete in 2004.
The former Manchester United player denied the allegations at the time but speculation resurfaced last autumn when Roos publicly said he had once spotted him in bed with Spanish model Esther Cañadas.
“It was very hurtful,” a former employee of David’s told the Daily Mail in October 2023.
Ruth claimed she had been having an affair with David when she discovered him with Cañadas.
“I felt absolutely awful and thought to myself, ‘What a stupid idiot,'” she added.
Sarah Marbeck and two other women also claim they had affairs with the British athlete in the early 2000s while he was married.
David addressed the issue in his 2023 Netflix documentary, “Beckham.”
“I honestly don’t know how I got through it,” he said of the tough time.
“Victoria means everything to me and it was very hard to see her hurt, but we are warriors and at that time we had to fight for each other and for our family,” he said.
Victoria, 50, described this period as the “hardest time” in her marriage because “the world was against us”.
“The truth is, to be completely honest with you, we were kind of at each other’s throats. … We didn’t really feel like we supported each other that much.”
Though their relationship has had its ups and downs, the Beckhams married in 1999 and have four children together: Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 12.
