David Foster Responds to Controversy Over Charity Event

On August 7, Markle and Prince Harry attended the gathering hosted by Foster’s foundation. Footage shared on social media captured Foster greeting the royal couple and later returning with his wife, Katharine McPhee, for a photo op.

In response to the backlash, Foster clarified that, as the organizer of the event, he had already welcomed Markle and Harry before the public interactions began. “They were both gracious and selfless, giving of their time and doing everything they could to engage with everyone,” he stated, defending the absence of any awkwardness during their exchanges.
