Baseball Hall of Famer David Ortiz likely had his most memorable strikeout eight years into what he called a career.

Ortiz and girlfriend Maria Herribel are expecting a son, but the 48-year-old MLB legend wasn't the one who released the blue confetti to announce the gender.
The Boston Red Sox legend was seen striking out when someone, presumably Eriber, threw a ball to Ortiz, who was holding a dark-colored bat.
Other people off to the side were also seen holding confetti poppers, which were released as Ortiz spun around with the bat.
Footage showed the couple jumping up and down and celebrating after learning the gender of their fourth child.
Ortiz has three children, two with ex-wife Tiffany and one with another previous relationship.
The gender reveal apparently doubled as a New Year's Eve party, with the couple posing for photos in front of a sign that read “New Year, Newborn.”
Elibel was seen wearing a white dress and a “Happy New Year” headband.
After Ortiz's hilarious strikeout, the couple danced together.
Eriber also posted a video of Ortiz kissing her stomach.
Ortiz's ex-wife Tiffany announced the dissolution In December 2021, we celebrated 25 years together on social media.
