Anti-Israel protesters are venting their anger in Washington DC as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addresses Congress in the nation’s capital.
Blaze Media national correspondent Julio Rosas was at the scene and captured video of the violent protests, in which protesters clashed with police and tore down the American flag.
They then replaced it with the Palestinian flag.
“It makes you wonder why on earth they’re here.” Sara Gonzalez Comments on “Sara Gonzalez Unfiltered.” Glenn BeckJason Buttrill strongly agrees.
“This infuriates me. I never want to see it again. It’s insanity,” Buttrill said.
“Tearing down that flag is not free speech. It’s a government building. Tearing down that flag from a government building, even if it’s a private building, it’s not allowed,” he added.
Gonzalez recalled how protesters on January 6 received extremely harsh punishments for doing far less: Adam Johnson, who was photographed smiling and waving as he moved his pulpit 30 feet;
“Every time someone puts a flag, a Pride flag, in the street, what’s the charge? It’s a hate crime. And yet they can do this horrible thing,” Buttrill says angrily.
John Doyle agrees.
“Throughout history, whether it’s a religious monarchy or any nation state, there’s always been something resembling blasphemy laws. There have to be things that you just can’t criticize or slander. And right now in America, it’s about woke people, which means you can’t change lanes through a Pride flag mural or you can’t change lanes through a Black Lives Matter avenue in Washington,” Doyle says.
“If you do that, you will be prosecuted. You will be arrested. That has no place on the American flag, which is the symbol of our people,” he continued, adding: “The only consequence you face today is whether you are truly a patriot – taking an unguided tour of the Capitol building. They are launching the largest investigation in the history of the Department of Justice.”
