DEA busts Tren de Aragua makeshift nightclub in Colorado; 50 illegals in custody

Federal agents detained nearly 50 illegal immigrants early Sunday during an operation targeting the network of the Venezuelan gang Torren de Aragua (TdA) in Colorado.

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Rocky Mountain Field Office includes agents from the agency as well as partners from the Denver offices of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Enforcement. I told Lala. The Anti-Explosive Task Force (ATF) conducted an early morning operation targeting drug trafficking and TdA members in Adams County, Colorado.

The early morning raid targeted what federal authorities described as an “invitation-only” “makeshift nightclub” in Adams County. “Dozens of people associated with the Torren de Aragua (TdA) gang were there,” the DEA said.

Another post included a video of the bus used to remove nearly 50 illegal immigrants from the scene. The DEA said many of the detainees had ties to Venezuela's TdA gang, but did not provide a breakdown.

The operation comes as President Donald Trump's border czar, Tom Homan, is spearheading a mass deportation strategy and is prioritizing the arrest of criminal illegal immigrants across the country.
