Dean Cain Reflects on His Brief Romance with Pamela Anderson
Dean Cain’s fleeting relationship with Pamela Anderson, known for her role in “Baywatch,” was short-lived for a pretty straightforward reason.
In a recent interview, Cain, who is 59, revealed that their six-month romance began with a lot of excitement but eventually fizzled out. He described it as a “candle that was hot and burning short.”
Cain noted that there was a spark between them, especially during Anderson’s ascent to fame as a global sex symbol following her iconic role. However, he explained that their breakup stemmed from their differing desires for the relationship.
“She wanted to be with someone more like a rock star, but I’m just not that guy,” he admitted.
Anderson’s past is well-known; she had quite a whirlwind lifestyle throughout the ‘90s. The former Playboy model has been married five times, starting with Tommy Lee. She had a brief marriage with Kid Rock, then wed Rick Salomon twice, only to ultimately part ways for good. Her most recent marriage was to bodyguard Dan Hayhurst, which ended in 2021.
In contrast, Cain has never tied the knot but has enjoyed relationships with various Hollywood actresses, including Brooke Shields. Still, despite the short duration of his romance with Anderson, he reflects on their time together with fond memories.
Recently, Anderson was spotted getting cozy with Liam Neeson, her co-star from “Naked Gun.” They appeared comfortable together while on the “Today” show, where a surprised Neeson even shared a steamy kiss with her before addressing the cameras.
During their interview, Neeson, 73, remarked, “We met on set, and as two actors, we found this lovely, budding chemistry.” He also hinted at the natural progression of their relationship, stating, “It’s like, ‘Oh, this is fine. Don’t force anything. Just let it breathe, and that’s what we did.’
According to a source, the chemistry between them extends beyond the cameras. The insider noted that there seems to be a genuine connection as they enjoy each other’s company.
