Multiple University of Michigan student groups shared various anti-Israel materials and pamphlets at a pro-Palestinian encampment this week, according to a witness.
One of the pamphlets, titled “Ten Anarchist Essays on Palestinian Solidarity in the United States,” is now available for students to pick up and read. The pamphlet discusses a wide range of opinions on the conflict between Israel and Hamas, with one page saying, “Palestinian freedom means death to America.”
Josh Brown, a University of Michigan junior who witnessed the ongoing demonstrations firsthand, told Fox News Digital that pamphlets were distributed to students at the encampment.
Brown documented the protest on social media and also told Fox that a “library” of materials for students had been set up at the encampment, which has not been cleared or removed.

Other booklets such as “Gaza Ghetto Uprising” and “My First Colombia” were distributed to students.
“In “Gaza Ghetto Uprising,” the anonymous author draws parallels between October 7 and the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. The author also expresses mild support for taking Israeli hostages. .” Brown wrote in the post. “Another pamphlet is titled ‘First We Take Columbia’ and was apparently written by @Yale and @Columbia students.”
Brown, who studies computer science at the university, told He pointed out that there was also a group of people praising it.
Brown said the four groups include Students for Freedom and Equality (SAFE), which describes itself on social media as a “Palestinian solidarity group.” Jewish Voice for Peace claims on its Instagram page that it organizes “for the liberation of Palestine and for Judaism beyond Zionism.” University of Michigan Graduate Staff Organization. and the TAHRIR Coalition, which claims on social media to be “more than 90 student organizations united for Palestinian TAHRIR (liberation) at the University of Michigan.”

Another video shared by Brown showed a Jewish student holding an Israeli flag surrounded by anti-Israel demonstrators.
“‘There’s only one solution: an intifada revolution!’ he shouted to the protesters as they surrounded a Jewish student holding an Israeli flag inside the encampment,” Brown said in a post on X. wrote.

The University of Michigan did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment about the pamphlet that was available at the encampment, or about the encampment in general.
