Defense Secretary Pete Hegses fired two four-star military leaders on Friday evening, reviewing and replacing those who were not in line with his and President Donald Trump's efforts to prioritize combat in the military I promised that.
Hegses fired the chief of Naval Operations.
He said they “have a distinctive career” and “I am grateful for the service and dedication to our country.”
He also added that he is requesting the appointment of general judges for the Army, Navy and Air Force.
“Under President Trump, we are introducing new leadership that will focus our troops on a central mission of deterrence, fight and victory,” he said.
Shortly before Hegses' announcement, Trump fired the chairman of Co-State Chief of Staff Charles “CQ” Brown, who was placed in that position by former President Joe Biden.
Trump has announced his decision on the true society.
General Charles' CQ' General Brown would like to thank over 40 years of service to our country, including the current Chairman of the Co-State. He is a great gentleman, an outstanding leader and wishes a great future for him and his family.
Trump also announced Brown's replacement, Lieutenant General (Ret.) Dan “Razin” Kane.
The chairman of the co-director is the president's top military adviser. They usually serve a four-year term, but the president can always replace it.
Brown is famous for filming videos as George Floyd's riots cleaned up the country. He called Floyd's death a “tragedy” and called him “a full of emotions.”
As the Air Force Chief of Staff, he also wanted to attract more African Americans and other minorities as officers by telling commanders to hire more for the “pool of applicants.” I pushed it forward.
Also, under Brown's tenure as Air Force Chief of Staff, former Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Romierier, a candidate for Trump's Air Force Secretary, published and discussed books on Marxism that spread across the US military, and after he was asked to continue his space. He was fired from the military headquarters. His book on podcasts.
Hegseth said of the following chairman:
Tonight, the president announced he intends to nominate USAF's Lt. Gen. Dan “Razin” Caine. Defense and the National Security Council.
General Cain embodies the spirit of a fighter jet, and is exactly the leader we need to meet in that moment. I look forward to working with him.
He also wanted Brown well.
“Retired Chairman, Charles CQ' Brown Jr., USAF, has served as a distinction in his 40-year career of honorary service. I knew him as a thoughtful advisor and he stood out to our country. I respect the service that was done,” he said.
