“It didn't offend me, but you know me, I'm going to get to that bottom,” Sanders said. “So I followed it and called that team. I knew who it was. I called the head coach and had a candid conversation.

“We were really cool. He said, 'Prime, it never happened.'” he said, 'The truth is, it was great. It never happened.

“I said, 'Yeah, but this guy on your staff said lying, so you need to check him out,' and he checked him.

Sanders added that he didn't speak to the unnamed quarterback coach.

“He knew what I knew. I never called him. I just called his head coach because that was a lie,” Sanders said.

He said, “I don't think that makes sense because our last name is Sanders you have to attack because no one in our lives has ever attacked us.”

The Pro Football Hall of Fame explained that Chedur, a potential top three pick in this year's draft, and another top prospect, former Colorado star Travis Hunter, were under the microscope at the Scouting Combine.

“We never know if someone is compensated by our agents from other agents… how can we have two players? [Shedeur and Travis] We're going to be a criticised and criticised draft,” Sanders said.

“What about all the others? So my guy is the only one with flaws. …What about kids you hear about not participating in the combine? Do you know how many children did not participate in the combine?

Chedur made waves while playing on the Indianapolis podium earlier this month, saying that the team shouldn't draft him if the quarterback doesn't want him to come and change the culture.

Many interpret his overly confident attitude as cheeky.

Sanders went on to explain that many are “tired” to see his family win.

“Winning not just the game, but in life,” Sanders said before listing his admiration on and off the field. “… [People are like] “Okay, that's enough. [1988]. Now I have to deal with his children, and they are good, they are handsome, they are clear, they are familiar. No, I'm not ready for that. So we're not going to deal with him, his kids and his team. ”

Sanders added that Shedur is happy to play for the Giants, Titans, Browns Raiders and Saints.

“We're not in panic. We're not stumbling. First of all, this is a blessing… Chedur told me, he spoke enthusiastically about every visit with all the teams. I know where his heart is.

“For New York, New York, Tennessee, Cleveland, Raiders, if it's still in New Orleans, if it's one of the teams looking for a quarterback, I know what he's going to do with the organization.”
