Delta Air Lines Executive Arrested After Strange Incident at LaGuardia

A Delta Air Lines executive, who played a significant role in renovations at LaGuardia Airport, reportedly stole a driver’s keys during a dust storm outside the airport and tossed them into a storm drain, according to officials.

Ryan Marzullo, 46, was taken into custody secretly by Port Authority officers on charges of criminal mischief and petty theft, as reported by authorities.

This strange occurrence took place on November 11 when Marzullo interacted with a 22-year-old man parked outside Terminal C. The driver alleged that Marzullo, claiming to be a Delta employee, reached into the vehicle, which was a 2024 Toyota, and grabbed the keys.

Afterward, Marzullo allegedly threw the keys into a storm drain and drove away.

Authorities later identified Marzullo as the individual who threw the keys and executed a secret arrest under the direction of Port Authority police.

Frank Conti, president of the Port Authority Police Benevolent Association, stated that officers were informed about a significant, mysterious arrest slated for Wednesday. He mentioned that the suspect turned himself in, and officers were instructed not to approach or take pictures.

Marzullo, who has not commented publicly on the issue, is a managing director at Delta and oversees the renovation of LaGuardia’s Terminal C as part of an extensive $8 billion airport project.

Neither Delta Air Lines nor Port Authority representatives responded to inquiries regarding the incident.

Marzullo received a court appearance ticket and is set to appear in court again on December 8, according to the Queens District Attorney’s Office.
