Delta Air Lines is investigating how one of its planes sustained visible nose damage after safely landing in Denver on Monday.
The Airbus A320 departed from Detroit at 12:36 p.m. ET and landed in Denver at 1:38 p.m. Mountain Time after a three-hour flight, tracking website FlightAware said.

“The crew received indications that there was a mechanical issue with the nose of the aircraft,” Delta Air Lines said in a statement to FOX Business. “The plane landed safely and taxied to the gate without incident. Our mechanics are inspecting the aircraft. We apologize for any delays to your travels.”
The airline confirmed that the plane was carrying 148 passengers and six crew members.
This was announced by an airline spokesperson. Local TV station Denver7 There were no reports that the aircraft was hit by anything.
No one was injured, and the aircraft was scheduled to be repaired overnight.

FOX Business has reached out to Airbus for comment.
As a result of the incident, flight DL2362 from Denver to Salt Lake City was delayed due to an aircraft changeover to an Airbus A319.
According to Delta Air Lines, takeoff was four and a half hours behind schedule.
