A Delta Air Lines plane clipped another plane’s wing on the Minneapolis-St. Paul runway. Paul International Airport Thursday morning.

Two Delta Airlines planes broke their wings while taxiing down the runway late that morning. Delta Air Lines told Fox News Digital that no passengers or employees were injured.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) told Fox News Digital that the accident occurred around 10:45 a.m., and that the collision occurred as Delta Flight 1460 was preparing to head from Minneapolis to West Palm Beach, Florida. He said that he was just there.

“At approximately 10:45 a.m. local time on Thursday, March 28, Delta Flight 1460 was taxiing when its wing tip collided with Delta Flight 1104, which was being pushed back from the gate at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport,” the FAA said. announced. “Both Airbus A320 aircraft have returned to the gate,” the FAA added.

Flight 1104 arrived in Tucson more than four hours behind schedule. Flight 1460 arrived in West Palm Beach more than three hours behind schedule.

Delta Air Lines told FOX News Digital that Flight 1460 was flying at “low speed” when its wings clipped.

“Following the low-speed wingtip contact between the two aircraft at MSP, Delta teams worked to redirect the customer to his final destination,” a Delta spokesperson said.
