Concerns Over Potential Charges

President Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ) expressed concerns on MSNBC regarding colleague Lamonica McQuiver, D-NJ, who may face charges related to an incident at an ice facility in Newark, New Jersey.

Watson Coleman stated, “This is a threatening act, but we are undeterred. We will carry out our responsibilities. Our surveillance efforts are crucial to ensure safe housing where inspections are lacking.”

When asked if she fears being the next target for charges, Cabrera prompted, “Are you worried about being charged next?”

Watson Coleman replied, “I’m more concerned about their anxieties over what they might pursue. I believe my worries are isolated. They have misused the rule of law. However, I’m not worried because I’ve done nothing wrong.”
