Demarcus Ware is experiencing an anniversary this year.
2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the Denver Broncos’ last Super Bowl win. Denver’s defense was the horrifying aspect of mitigating the incredible Carolina Panthers offense led by Cam Newton and Ware, and with von Miller and the company, they stopped it all in all games.
At that point, DeMarcus was in the NFL for a long time – in fact, it was 10 years. Ware is part of the 2005 NFL Draft class and was apparently selected by the Dallas Cowboys. Before leaving them behind to join the Broncos, Ware became the greatest sack leader ever in the history of the Dallas franchise.
Needless to say, it was an incredible 20 years for Demarcus Wear. Surprisingly, it all began 20 years ago today Just as he was chosen on April 23, 2005. Time is really flying.

While Ware always had a sense of donation to the community while being a member of the Cowboys, it is clear that this disposition has ripped through his post-play days. I was happy to be able to talk to him many times over the years. He never sleeps when it comes to helping people around him.

Recently he worked with Hall of Heroes in Crown Royal. This is a new partnership with the Bob Woodruff Foundation, Crown Royal and the NFL’s Salute Prevention Initiative. Before the first round of the NFL Draft, the Crown Royal Hall of Heroes ensherines 32 extraordinary veterans in a special ceremony led by NFL legends DeMarcusware and Dave Woodruff, co-founders of the historic Bob Woodruff Foundation in Lambeau Field. After the ceremony, each veteran will enjoy a VIP experience in the draft.
