Demi Moore’s daughter says mom did not snub Kylie Jenner at the Golden Globes

Demi Moore may have been the big winner at the Golden Globes, but some social media users are loving her.

a TikTok videos Photos taken from inside the ceremony venue on Sunday night showed him greeting and chatting with actress Elle Fanning, who won the award earlier in the evening.

Social media users wondered if Moore was seemingly ignoring Kylie Jenner's attempts to congratulate her on her win. That's because she was greeting everyone else at the table, including Jenner's boyfriend and that night's nominee, Timothée Chalamet, but not her.

“You don't have to be a Kylie fan to know that's disrespectful to Demi,” one fan wrote in the comments section. “It's really unfortunate. Kylie hasn't done anything and this shows that Kylie looked down on her. If Kylie can do that, she can do that to us.”

Moore's daughter Talulah supported her mother in an Instagram Story posted on Monday, telling fans to “rest and let the girls enjoy their accomplishments!”

“Hello @ everyone, really press but please nip this straight in the bud – we spent the new year with Elle so it was very natural for us to connect with her after the win, this angel “In complete shock and joy, the well wisher's room kept moving throughout the warm day,” she wrote in part.

She went on to say: [sic] If she had seen that KJ wanted to congratulate her, no matter what kind of disrespect, she would have totally given her time and space. Literally put everything to rest and let the girls enjoy their accomplishments! ”

Some people defended Moore in the comments section of the post, pointing out that Moore did acknowledge Jenner and seemed grateful when Jenner congratulated him.

One fan wrote, “Everyone was calling out for Demi, but she paid attention to KY's congratulations. It wasn't a full conversation, but she wasn't rude.” wrote, and another fan said, “She said thank you to her! Not rude at all, they probably don't know each other, but it's clear she's related to the other people there.” ”

The 62-year-old actress won her first Golden Globe Award for her starring role as Elizabeth Sparkle in the hit body horror film The Substance. In the film, he plays an aging celebrity who chooses to inject himself. It's a substance that promises to transform her into an enhanced version of herself.

In accepting the award, Moore reflected on her more than 40 years in the entertainment industry, saying that she was once told by a producer that she was just a “popcorn actress” and that her work would never be recognized. She also admitted that she had considered quitting acting before appearing in The Substance.

“A few years ago, I thought this was it. Maybe I was done. I did what I had to do,” she said in a speech. “When I was depressed, this crazy script came across my desk. The universe told me it wasn't finished yet.”

Talulah, 30, and Moore's daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis, 36, Rumer, 36, and Scout, 33, also celebrated their mother's victory at home, surrounded by friends.

Talulah also posted a series of stories, including one in which she told a mother who had received an award: “This woman is my teacher, my guide, my friend. The world is just like your family.” I look at you and I'm proud.”
