Following Biden’s disastrous debate performance, which highlighted his apparent mental decline, and his subsequent disastrous interview with George Stephanopoulos, some major Democratic donors are preparing to flee.

“Never get in the way of your opponent when they’re making a mistake,” she says.
And Biden is definitely wrong.
Reed Hastings, co-founder and chairman of Netflix and a donor to the Biden-Harris campaign, told ABC News, “Unfortunately, Biden is in denial about his own mental health. Biden needs to step aside and allow strong Democratic leadership to defeat Trump.”
Hastings is not alone. Former PayPal CEO Bill Harris, who donated $620,000 to the Biden Victory Fund in 2020, also told ABC News in an interview that Biden “looks old” and won’t intrigue voters.
After the debate, Harris set up a political action committee and pledged $2 million to “fund a series of debates between the leading candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination if Biden leaves office.”
While pleas from donors for the president to step down are heard everywhere, many worry that Vice President Kamala Harris will be next, and she is far from the answer to the Democratic Party’s problems.
“There are literally millions of dollars being donated to the Biden-Harris campaign. If Joe pulls out, Kamala is the only one who can spend that money,” Chad Prather told Gonzalez.
“There are a lot of big donors who are saying, ‘If Joe drops out, we don’t need Kamala. We don’t need to donate again,'” he continued, adding that “Democrats are in a pretty tough spot here.”
The Democratic Party chose Kamala Harris not only because she is a Democrat, but also because she is a woman of color. In essence, she was recruited by DEI.
“They were in a dilemma because they wanted a woman of color. Now, can you imagine what would happen? Now they can’t replace that woman with someone like Gavin Newsom, who’s super white, because they built everything on the fact that DEI is mainstream today,” Prather said.
