Incendiary Six Voice Concerns Over Trump Administration’s Response

Members of the group known as the “Incendiary Six” have come forward to express dissatisfaction regarding the Trump administration’s handling of a controversial viral video that emerged late last year.

On Wednesday, Senator Elissa Slotkin from Michigan tweeted regarding the investigation initiated by the Trump administration into a Democratic congressman. This congressman had earlier urged military and intelligence officials to reject unlawful directives back in November.

“And right now, speaking out against abuses of power is the most patriotic thing we can do.”

Slotkin, who has a background with the Central Intelligence Agency, wrote in her recent video, “Intimidation *is* important. And it doesn’t work.”

She indicated that Jeanine Pirro, the U.S. attorney for Washington, D.C., had requested to interview her concerning a video she made with five other Democratic colleagues. This request comes alongside the FBI’s ongoing counterterrorism investigation that they had announced in November.

In her response to the video, Slotkin stated, “The President asked us to investigate, arrest, and ultimately hang him. He tweeted about it over a dozen times and misleadingly claimed yesterday in Michigan that I had stolen the 2024 election.”

Slotkin managed to win the 2024 Senate race with a narrow margin of 0.3% against former Congressman Mike Rogers, a Republican from Michigan.

In a recent speech at the Detroit Economic Club, President Trump acknowledged Rogers, saying, “And I think they took it away from you last time… I really do. They rigged the election for you. My election was too big to rig. You — you won. I tell you, you won.”

However, Trump did not specify who he believed was responsible for “rigging” the election.

Slotkin claimed she has faced over 100 credible threats and has had to enhance her security for both herself and her family.

She added, “He is now using political appointees in the FBI and the Department of Justice to carry out his threats. Let me be clear: this is the president’s strategy. The truth doesn’t matter. The facts don’t matter. And anyone who disagrees with him becomes an enemy, with the federal government being weaponized against them.”

Slotkin described the ongoing situation as a form of legal and physical intimidation aimed at silencing dissent. “He has wielded this intimidation against universities, businesses, the legal community, and politicians who mistakenly think that their security will be safeguarded by complying with his orders and remaining silent.”

But she vowed not to be among those silenced.

Slotkin concluded with a somewhat vague reminder about inequality and “values,” asserting, “Our freedom of speech is worth fighting for. Our values, our core values, are worth fighting for. And right now, speaking out against abuses of power is the most patriotic thing we can do.”

Other participants in the original viral video include Senator Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) and representatives Chris Deluzio (D-Pennsylvania), Maggie Goodlander (D-North Carolina), Chrissy Houlahan (D-Pennsylvania), and Jason Crow (D-Colorado), which has since gathered over 18 million views.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in D.C. has not commented in response to requests for information regarding this situation.
