Democrat Leaders Pushing Biden to Stay Are Guilty of ‘Elder Abuse’

Film director Michael Moore has attacked Democratic leaders who are pinning their hopes on Joe Biden for reelection, saying they are guilty of “elder abuse” against the 81-year-old president.

In an interview with MSNBC and on his own Rumble show, Michael Moore slammed certain party heavyweights following Biden’s awful debate performance that is still dominating the headlines.

“The issue here is I think there’s a type of elder abuse going on where the Democratic Party and people who are part of that organization are pressuring him over and over again to stay. And he comes out and says, ‘I’m staying,’ and his family says, ‘I’m staying.'” Fahrenheit said the 9/11 filmmaker.

Moore called Biden’s debate performance “heartbreaking.”

“It was like imagining it was my dad there. I thought: Why is nobody doing anything? Why did they put him on stage like this? Who is looking after him? Who is looking after him now?”

“Something was wrong that night, and we all saw it,” he added. “My eyes weren’t lying, and yours weren’t lying either.”

Moore went even more aggressive on his show, “Rumble,” questioning whether Biden is strong enough to remain in the White House. “This is a question of whether he’s going to serve four more days,” he said.

Moore had recently criticized Biden’s stance on Israel’s war against Hamas, but this week he took a more sympathetic stance toward the president.

“If I have to be the only person standing up for Joe Biden, yes you heard me say that, if I have to be the only person here standing up for Joe Biden, if I have to be the only person standing up to protect him from the most brutal form of elder abuse that I’ve ever been forced to witness, then yes I will,” he continued.

Moore said he also agreed with one comment made by former President Donald Trump during the debate.

“Trump was right. I know there’s a word I’ve never said before. Trump was right when he turned to Biden and asked him what the problem was of why he wasn’t firing anybody,” he said. “Now, a week later, I’m amazed that any of his campaign staff are still working. How can that happen?”

Michael Moore is among a number of entertainment industry leaders who have called on Biden to drop out of the campaign.

Others include Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel, Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings and veteran studio boss Barry Diller. lost Creator Damon Lindelof.

On Sunday, Rob Reiner, one of Hollywood’s staunchest Biden supporters, called on the president to “step down.”
