According to Chicago police, the Democratic official repeatedly made disrespectful comments about a police officer's genitals during a DUI arrest.
Commissioner Samantha Steele was found lying on the ground next to two vehicles with “severe” damage around 8:50 p.m. Sunday, according to a police report reviewed by the Democratic Review Committee. Ta. Chicago Sun-Times.
The 45-year-old woman, who is currently facing a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence, admitted to officers that she caused the crash.
An open bottle of red wine was found on the floor of her car, the report said.

“I observed that her eyes were bloodshot and glassy,” the officer wrote in the report. “I also noticed a strong odor.” [an] An alcoholic beverage came out of her breath as she spoke. ”
However, Steele refused to take a breathalyzer test and allegedly told police at the scene that he wanted a lawyer when asked how much he had drunk before the accident.

Steele was arrested and handcuffed. During the arrest, she repeatedly asked the officer, “Is your penis that small?” according to the report.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, she complained of pain from her head injury and went to a nearby hospital for treatment. There, she asked another member of the Cook County Commission to come to the hospital as her attorney, the newspaper said.
Her attorney, Scott Britton, is not a criminal lawyer, so he referred her to another attorney.

Steele's court date was set for Dec. 27, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. No comments were received.
