Democrat Plan Seeks Oprah, Taylor Swift to Unify Party Following Biden Debate Humiliation

With the party in turmoil following Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance, Democrats are reportedly seeking the help of Oprah Winfrey and Taylor Swift to unite the party ahead of holding their convention without the president.

According to Semaphore, the Democratic Party has circulated a memorandum stating that he will withdraw his candidacy later this month, after which the party will announce a “lightning primary” process in the days leading up to its convention on August 19. report.

The apparent aim is to reignite the Democratic election year narrative as Biden’s shockingly inept debate performance last month continues to dominate the news cycle with no end in sight.

The six candidates who receive the most delegate votes will take part in a series of public forums before the convention. Oprah Winfrey, Taylor Swift and Michelle Obama are among those named in the memo to moderate those forums, according to the report.

Delegates will select their candidates through ranked choice voting before the start of the Chicago convention.

Winfrey and Swift both endorsed Joe Biden in 2020, but they have both been conspicuously silent in this year’s election as Biden’s unpopularity makes him a toxic target for image-conscious celebrities.

When asked last year what she thought about Biden’s reelection, Winfrey refused to give a clear answer. “Come on!” she said. Said Reporters from DailyMail.com cornered her on the street.

Meanwhile, Swift has so far not made any political endorsements in this year’s presidential election, a stark contrast to four years ago, when she publicly denounced then-President Donald Trump and publicly endorsed Biden.

The memo comes as support for Democrat Joe Biden continues to decline and more party officials and donors call for the president to abandon his campaign, but Biden continues to publicly say he will remain the party’s nominee.
