Four House Democrats who traveled to El Salvador advocated for illegal immigrants deported over suspected criminal associations and stayed in a luxury hotel featuring spectacular views of the country, according to the Daily Call News Foundation.
Florida’s Democrat Robert Garcia from California, Maxine Dexter from Oregon, and Yassamine Ansari from Arizona visited the capital, San Salvador, opposing the property of the revered Salvador on April 21st, as per a source knowledgeable about the capital’s attractions and their accommodations for DCNF.
The San Salvador Hotel offers a picturesque perspective of the capital’s scenery and an outdoor terrace for guests to enjoy margaritas and local delicacies, including handmade pupusa. Hotels.com describes the hotel as “a tranquil retreat” for those seeking relaxation and ease. Google rates it as a 5-star establishment.
The House Republican campaign group has vocally criticized the four Democrats for taking “tropical leave” while Congress was in recess, allowing lawmakers time to spend in their districts.
The politicians did not engage with Kilmer Abrego Garcia.
As per the Caller, the officials did not meet any suspected gang members during their visit to El Salvador. The report mentioned that their request to send official legislative delegations to the country was declined, adding that taxpayers would need to draft a bill if such a request is approved.
