“Resistance” Democrats are beginning to abandon civic politics in support of the new provocative and militant “Dark Week,” the new report says.
The term “dark week” refers to: Online Memes It became popular in January amid President Donald Trump’s inauguration. Under the “#DarkWoke” tag, left-leaning X users share jokes and memes they are happy or hoping to suffer from Trump supporters.
The term is primarily an online phenomenon, but some members of the Democrats are beginning to see some benefits in “bad” and “rude” attitudes.
“Republicans essentially put Democrats in a prison of respect,” said Babik Lasia, a communications consultant and former digital director for the Wisconsin Democrats. The Times used Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett as an example of Democrats carrying out attacks on Republicans, including Majorie Taylor Green and R-GA, as they have a “bleached blonde, bad building butchbodies.”
According to the era, more Democrats are following Crockett’s lead as politicians encourage politicians to use “a new form of combat rhetoric aimed at regaining voters that respond to the unprotected political version of President Trump.”

The “dark awakening” spirit is seen as a necessary retaliation against the right for young Democrats.
“All of these new staff grew up watching very despicable content overflowing from the right-wing space to normal space,” Caleb Brock, Director of Digital Strategy for Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif’s Director of Rep., told The Times. “I’m ready to fight it in any way I need.”
This “Dark Woke” embrace quotes the famous “We’re High” from her speech from her 2016 Democratic National Convention.
In contrast, Democrat Brooklyn Councillor ChiOssé quoted one of Democrat Mayor Eric Adams’ aides, saying, “When they go low, you have to dig into oil.”
