Democrats Supporting ‘Safest White Boy’ for 2028 Election

Democrats Eyeing Specific Candidate for 2028 Presidential Race

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) recently indicated that Democrats are looking towards a particular candidate for the upcoming 2028 presidential election.

Crockett shared her thoughts during an appearance on City View Radio, hosted by Craicain and Leece Colbert, where she discussed the party’s strategy. She emphasized the focus on challenging President Donald Trump as a priority “for the good of the people.”

She expressed concerns about the party’s hesitance, especially regarding women candidates, noting a history of defeats when voting for them.

She elaborated:

“It’s a natural fear because we just want to win. So, what’s the strategy? We might end up choosing the safest white candidate, honestly. There are specific candidates in line, and I could tell you connections with donors. It’s not about choosing a black or female candidate.”

Crockett took a moment to talk about Trump, highlighting his uniqueness in the political landscape.

“People often overlook how different Trump is. They keep saying we lost. The underlying misogyny plays a role there, and it’s evident in how he interacts.”

Despite her criticisms, Trump’s recognition ratings reportedly peaked in mid-April, as noted by media outlets.

In March, Crockett made headlines for her remarks on Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX), referring to him as “Governor Hot Wheels” and “Hot-Ass Mess.”

As for the 2024 election, there are whispers among Senate Democrats about potential worries surrounding Kamala Harris’s ability to succeed if she runs again in 2028.
