Study finds link between high-fat diet and anxiety

(NewsNation) — A high-fat diet could disrupt gut bacteria and contribute to anxiety, according to a new study from the University of Colorado Boulder. The researchers split young male rats into two groups and fed them half a standard diet containing about 11 percent fat for nine weeks.
