Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich told an audience at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library that Democratic leaders will not rest until former President Donald Trump is in prison.
Gingrich speculated that the main goal of President Trump's political opponents is to prevent the former president from running in the next presidential election due to President Biden's low approval ratings.
“Their goal is to put him in prison. Literally. I mean, if they can get to the right place, they're going to put him in chains,” Gingrich said Wednesday in Simi Valley, California. told the audience.
