Former Michigan US Senate candidate and former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI) explained to Breitbart News on Saturday that he was “returning to the same playbook” where Democrats cost the 2024 presidential election.
Rogers recently ran against the now-sen for the US Senator in Michigan. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mi), spoke Matthew Boyle voted in favor of the ongoing resolution to avoid government shutdowns as to how Democrats are “tearing each other” after nine Senate Democrats.
After Boyle references how former House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is “At Andss” with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and how Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is “talking about running,” Rogers says Democrats are “beatthing than now than now now now seed.”
“They're breaking the drums to everything they didn't like about Trump before he was elected. They're beating the same drums to everything they don't like about Trump after he was elected. And he's doing what he promised to do – give the government the rights. This isn't easy. And what do you guess? You want to make an omelette, you have to break some eggs, and that's exactly what he's doing,” Rogers said.
“If we don't change the trajectory of the size and scope of the federal government, we all fall into serious trouble, our kids are in trouble, our grandchildren are in trouble. He has got it, so he has some difficult choices, and I think it will be a better day there. Similarly with tariffs, Canada has been billed by American farmers for 20 years, but Michigan has a lot of dairy products, and there is about 300% tariffs for about 20 years. This is all about trying to make it right for the country and give us the opportunity to grow in other countries in other countries that come here to grow in the economy,” Rogers added.
“What do you think? All of that stuff is working. They're desperate about everything about it. And they're on each other's throats about shutting down government, so they can't cooperate with anything for any reason. That means they all voted to allow men to play in the sports of women and girls. They just didn't get the message.”
Rogers continues to question what the Democrats' “voice” is and who their messengers are, adding that Democrats “doesn't want to change that much.” He also referred to Slotkin Proposed On ABC Viewthat Trump was elected because the brains of American voters have not yet been fully formed.
“What is their voice? Who is their messenger? They're quickly back to the same playbook that took place in the election. It's a popular vote in the landslide election vote against the presidency, and they don't seem to want to change that much. They're just thinking – the truth is, my previous opponent got on TV and said that the people who voted for Trump still don't have a formed brain. That's not the way – for those who only got 48% of the vote, it's not a way to talk to people who made decisions based on their own family and their country's future,” added Rogers.
