On HBO's “real-time” broadcast on Friday, host Bill Maher said “there are “a lot of toes” due to the issue of anti-Semitism from Democrats.
While talking to Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro (D), he said,[Y]OU was the last candidate for Vice President, Pennsylvania, and many people said, the only reason he didn't get it is because he is Jewish and now has the wings of this party, which is very anti-Israel. The Democrats were once a very pro-Israel place, so everything was switched from then on. Do you think that's true? ”
Maher continued. I feel like I'm off a lot of toes from this issue, so we just don't want to go near it.
Shapiro answered questions about being Harris' running buddy, stating that both he and Harris are making personal decisions.
