Democrats are “on the wrong side of almost every important issue,” Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) said. Breitbart News Daily.
Blackburn spoke out to host Mike Slater and discussed the latest developments (CR) on the ongoing resolution.
“I think something very interesting about it, Mike and your audience will find this interesting. Democrats portray women's sports men, border security, criminal illegal aliens, funding the government, House Democrats and Senate Democrats portray Americans Donald Trump.
“And Republicans and people think it's stupid to push them to shut down Schumer the federal government in the Republican-controlled House, Senate and White House.
“I've seen the AOC make a statement to reporters that she is trying to revitalize left-wing bases to come here and push her against Democrats who are trying to vote to keep the government open,” Blackburn added.
To her Democratic critics, Blackburn explained that Republicans are simply “trying to protect this country.” We're explaining that we're making the necessary cuts for taxpayers, and we're going to ensure that we have borders, and we're going to get those cuts and actually codified them and lead them to the law, and end these programs that end their usefulness and what people don't want to pay for.”

“These are things we're trying to do. But Democrats are campaigning here to spend more taxpayer money, because $36 trillion in debt isn't enough for them. They want to spend another $2 trillion deficit, but that's not enough. They want to spend more, and they've built their lives by having a government bureaucracy, for charities, committees, departments, unions, and for hardworking taxpayers, to stand up and say “that's absolutely not.” “The Democrats are very offended,” she said.
That's why she went on, the country sees so many Democrats turning their positions into independence.
“These people have gone left so far, and they don't even recognize what they're talking about, whether they're Israel or illegal aliens of borders or crime, whether they're in control of the budget,” Blackburn added.
