Dennis Richards is claiming that her estranged husband, Aaron Phippers, has taken her personal photos and breached a temporary restraining order amid their tumultuous divorce.
The “Drop Dead Gorgeous” star is asking for the return of all her photos, recordings, and mobile devices, as indicated in court documents filed on Monday.
Richards is also requesting that Phippers stop using, sharing, or disclosing any text messages, emails, or other content from her electronic devices.
This development follows Phippers’ accusations that Richards has a connection with Rudy Reyes, an instructor on “Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test.”
Richards’ divorce attorney, Brett Berman, stated that Phippers violated the court-ordered restraining order by sharing personal information from her stolen mobile phone and laptop.
“I have warned Mr. Phippers in writing not to disseminate information from the stolen devices, yet he persists,” Berman remarked.
Neither Richards nor Phippers’ representatives immediately replied to requests for comments.
Phippers has accused Richards of having an affair in a lengthy letter, suggesting that he has been grappling with difficult truths. He claims to have found evidence of her involvement on his electronic devices.
He asserts that Richards denied any wrongdoing, even in the face of explicit messages he discovered.
Phippers filed for divorce from Richards on July 7, after a heated argument on July 4, claiming she physically assaulted him and that he destroyed his phone upon discovering conversations she had with Reyes.
Having been married for nearly seven years, Phippers is also seeking spousal support.
Richards was granted a temporary restraining order soon after filing, having accused him of physical abuse.
Phippers has rejected the allegations and has spoken about Richards needing intervention for supposed addiction issues related to Vicodin. He claims she has problems mixing it with alcohol and has a significant supply of the medication.
