Derek Hough Welcomes First Child

Derek Hough is officially a dad!

The judge from Dancing with the Stars and his wife Hayley Erbert have celebrated the arrival of their first baby, a daughter. They shared the news on Instagram with a black and white photo revealing the baby’s tiny feet. They named her Everly Capri Huff.

The couple expressed their joy, saying, “Every step of our lives has led us to you. Our hearts have opened wide and our world has changed forever.”

Friends and fellow dancers showered them with warm congratulations. Lindsay Arnold shared heartfelt wishes, and Whitney Carson chimed in with excitement as well.

Hayley, 31, revealed her pregnancy over the summer. Reflecting on the journey, the couple shared that in July 2025, they couldn’t believe something so small could bring such monumental change into their lives.

This milestone comes nearly two years after Hough, 40, and Erbert got married in August 2023 in Carmel, California. Reflecting on their relationship, they began dating in 2015 and got engaged in 2022.

In a challenging twist, just four months after their wedding, Erbert faced a health scare with a cranial hematoma that required emergency surgery. She later spoke about this experience, describing the miraculous act of creating life. “I’m so grateful for it all and incredibly proud of myself and my body for everything I’ve endured,” she wrote.

The couple first crossed paths in 2014 during the Move Live Tour when Hayley was hired alongside Derek’s sister, Julianne Hough. It’s been a journey filled with love, challenges, and now the joy of parenthood.
