DeSantis Blew Through $150 Million, ‘Spent More on Private Planes than Commercials’

Former Governor Nikki Haley (R, South Carolina), a Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential election, said in a CNN primary debate on Wednesday that her opponent, Governor Ron DeSantis (R, Florida), is spending 100 million yen on her presidential campaign. He said he had used up $50 million.

“If leadership is about getting things done, why did he spend $150 million on a campaign when he was trailing in the polls?” Haley said.

She continued, “What I'm telling you is that if you can't manage a campaign, it's been a revolving door for politicians coming in and out of his campaign. We can't all agree. You've heard the stories about campaign workers fighting for — $150 million, and he spent more on his private plane than on commercials. He flew commercials. At the Residence Inn. We went to save money. We need to understand that it is not our money but other people's money and we need to know how to handle it, so we If he can't handle the finances of a campaign, how is he going to handle the economy when it comes to the White House?”

“This is a great opportunity to learn about leadership because she focuses on things that a lot of political processes and voters don't care about,” DeSantis said. “We couldn't explain why we couldn't give people school choice.” That's what she promised. So she said that was somehow suggestive. No, leadership is about producing results. We got results in Florida. ”
