Browns Deshaun Watson concerns officially came true on Monday.
The 29-year-old quarterback will be scheduled for 2024 after an MRI confirmed that Watson suffered a season-ending Achilles tendon injury, which was already suspected, in Sunday's 21-14 home loss to the Bengals. He will miss the remaining games of the 2020 season.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. An MRI scan on Monday revealed that Watson's Achilles tendon was torn.

The non-contact injury occurred late in the first half of Sunday's game in Cleveland, with an emotional Watson crying as he was dragged off the field.
He had 15 hits in 17 at-bats and left the game early.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson has replaced Watson, who has struggled this season.
After Sunday's loss, the Browns fell to 1-6 and will play the division rival Ravens next week.
