Destiny's Child comes together at Beyoncé's last 'Cowboy Carter' performance

The Power of a Girl

Destiny’s Child surprised fans by getting back together on stage for the first time in seven years during Beyoncé’s last stop on the “Cowboy Carter” tour.

Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams joined Beyoncé at the sold-out show in Alleyjunt Stadium, Las Vegas, on Saturday night.

The ladies performed some fan favorites, including the 2001 hit “Bootylicious” and the 2005 song “Lose My Breath.” They also collaborated on Beyoncé’s 2022 track “Energy.”

As the moment of silence ended, Beyoncé exclaimed, “Me and my crew. Great energy!”

This reunion marked the first time the trio had shared the stage since April 2018 at Coachella, where Beyoncé headlined.

Williams and Rowland joined Beyoncé for a performance of “Cuff It” among other hits.

Destiny’s Child began in Houston in 1997 with original members including Letoya Luckett and Latavia Roberson before several lineup changes occurred, leaving Beyoncé, Rowland, and Williams as the final trio.

Interestingly, Franklin, who was part of the group early on, eventually left in 2000, leading to the trio we know today.

Over the years, Williams and Rowland supported each other’s careers, highlighting a strong bond that remains evident today.

At this memorable concert, in addition to her former bandmates, Beyoncé was joined by her husband Jay-Z and country star Shaboosie, creating a night to remember for everyone involved.

After achieving massive success with Destiny’s Child, Beyoncé went on to release her debut solo album, “Dangerously in Love,” back in 2003.
