Flavor Fluff Hosts She Got Games Weekend
Flavor Fluff has landed VIP status for the upcoming She Got Games weekend, honoring all U.S. female Olympians this summer in Las Vegas.
The rapper, known for her advocacy for women’s sports—she even supported the U.S. bobsled/skeleton team during the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics—shared on Thursday that she is collaborating with MGM Resorts. They’ll provide hospitality, parties, and even a parade from July 16 to 19.
“I want to give a special shout out to MGM Resorts… many have offered support to the hockey team… but when I mentioned including all the women who won medals at the Winter Games and USABS, they quickly partnered with over 100 rooms,” Flavor Fluff posted on X on Thursday night.
“They’re also providing food, hospitality, a spa, event spaces, an after-party, and a free public parade to celebrate our women.”
In addition, Flavor Fluff launched a GoFundMe page for the “She Got Game” weekend.
“Funds raised will go directly to the invited female athletes, supporting their celebration during the She Got Games weekend. Your generosity will help ensure these athletes are acknowledged in Las Vegas and get meaningful financial backing for their futures,” the donation page reads.
Flavor Fluff is now officially part of USABS, becoming an “official team promoter” last October.
As the 2024 Paris Olympics approach, Flavor Fluff also signed a sponsorship deal to support the U.S. water polo team.
Meanwhile, she has plans for a large celebration, spurred by the social media excitement after the U.S. Olympic men’s hockey team’s phone call with President Trump, following their gold medal win over Canada.
The men’s team laughed when Trump joked about needing to invite the U.S. women’s hockey team—who won gold over Canada—to the State of the Union address or “they’d probably get impeached.”
Twenty members of the men’s team attended Trump’s State of the Union speech and visited the White House. Trump mentioned the women’s team would visit “soon,” though they declined an invitation that night due to a scheduling conflict.
It’s uncertain whether the women’s hockey team accepted the invitation.
Players from both teams weighed in on the controversy. Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman felt the men’s team should have reacted differently to Trump’s joke, saying, “We should have reacted differently.”
Women’s gold medalist Hilary Knight called Trump’s comment “offensive.” She spoke on “Sports Center” about it on Wednesday.
Jack Hughes, who scored the goal that ended America’s 46-year gold medal drought in men’s hockey, often highlighted the connection between the men’s and women’s teams in interviews.
