The sister of the man who opened fire on former President Trump on Saturday is a “hard-working” woman who works two jobs, according to reports.
Katie Crooks’ neighbours said she moved out of her parents’ home and into an apartment three years ago, and her now-infamous brother helped her move her belongings.
“We didn’t know if the person who helped her was a man or a woman,” the neighbor said. He told the New York Post. “A few days later, I asked her if it was one of her brothers, and she said it was her brother. The guy who shot Trump… was a really skinny guy.”
Neighbors said her father, Matthew Brian Crooks, was physically unable to help with the move and instead drove the moving truck while his son carried the belongings.

Neighbors told the outlet that Katie Crooks was a hard-working “go-getter” who worked as a janitor at a local high school and as a waitress at a local restaurant.
“She’s really friendly,” a neighbor said of the Republican. “She’s a good girl. I have nothing bad to say about her.”
The Crooks family has not yet publicly commented on the shooting, but are cooperating with the FBI in trying to determine a motive for the assassination attempt.
Crooks’ parents called police hours before the shooting, Fox News Digital reported Wednesday.

A few days after the incident, a woman believed to be the shooter’s sister was photographed carrying items into his Bethel Park home, local media reported.
The sister was apparently seen getting out of a red Hyundai Kona and carrying items into the Crooks’ home in Bethel Park on Monday night, according to local and national media footage.
The school also recently revealed that Thomas graduated from Allegheny County Community College in Pittsburgh in May as an engineering major.
“Like all Americans, we are shocked and saddened by the horrific incident that occurred in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday,” the university said in a statement.

“We are grateful that former President Trump is safe and recovering, and our condolences go out to the family of Corey Comperatore and our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by this tragedy.”
After graduation, the would-be assassin had planned to enroll at Robert Morris University near Pittsburgh in the fall, a university official confirmed to The Washington Post.
“Our hearts go out to former President Trump, the family of Corey Comperatore, and all those affected physically and emotionally by this tragic incident,” university officials said in a statement.
“We oppose all forms of violence and are committed to fostering safe and supportive communities for all.”
