Bon Jovi is back with their merchandise.
After a four-year break from live performances—aside from a few sporadic gigs due to Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal cord surgery—the band kicked off their “Forever Tour” with a concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 7th.
According to Set List FM, the legendary rockers, who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018, played 21 tracks. Fans were thrilled to hear hits like “Livin’ On A Prayer,” “It’s My Life,” “Wanted Dead or Alive,” “Bad Medicine,” and “You Give Love A Bad Name.” They also included “I’ll Be There For You,” “Born To Be My Baby,” “Have a Nice Day,” and even a rendition of the Beatles’ “With A Little Help From My Friends” to open the night.
Critics were pleasantly surprised, especially considering the recent challenges.
USA Today noted that, “Bon Jovi reclaimed his voice.” While there were times when his notes didn’t hit as perfectly as fans might remember, the power and conviction were very much present. He didn’t shy away from the reality of his situation.
Another review suggested that his performance was better than what fans experienced at the end of the 2022 tour, with clearer notes and more distinct lyrics. Supported by strong harmonies from the band, he seemed more confident, occasionally leaning into the crowd to help fill in the gaps.
If you’re eager to catch Bon Jovi live, they’ll have eight more shows at The Garden between July 9th and July 26th.
As for ticket prices, the cheapest we found for a single concert was around $211, including fees, for the July 14th show. Other dates range from about $222 to $248, all inclusive.
