De’Vondre Campbell takes aim at critics over decision to quit-mid game

Veteran NFL linebacker De'Vondre Campbell unleashed an expletive, fierce Tirade on social media on Friday. San Francisco 49ers The move earned a one-off All-Pro A 3-game suspension during a 15-week game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Campbell called out a broadcast analyst who spoke about the situation and instead of reaching out to him, he said, “I took what the 49ers said and ran it.”

Campbell lost his starting job this season when Dore Greenlow returned from Achilles' tears struggling with Super Bowl defeat Kansas City Chiefs. However, during the 15-week game, Niners head coach Kyle Shanahan wanted to put Campbell in the game as Greenlow was hurting from pain in his Achilles tendon.

Campbell refused, saying at the time Shanahan had never received an explanation.

A few days later, 49ers general manager John Lynch announced that Campbell would be suspending three games due to “behaviors harmful to the team.”
