It seems that general manager Joe Schoen hasn’t learned from the fallout surrounding Saquon Barkley and is now repeating mistakes with All-Pro nose tackle Dexter Lawrence.
Recent rumors suggested that Lawrence and the Giants were not aligned on a contract extension, and reports indicate that discussions have now completely stalled. The Giants are shifting focus to exploring possible trade options.
There’s sure to be no shortage of teams interested in Lawrence, especially with the NFL Draft approaching. Any team needing defensive line assistance could likely secure the Giants’ star.

The Chicago Bears are extremely likely to target a defensive tackle early in the upcoming draft since they aim to strengthen their team for a playoff run. Securing Lawrence with their 25th pick would be a significant boost, especially as the Bears need help against the run.
