Dez Bryant knocks a phone from a teenager's hand in footage of a parking lot incident.

Dez Bryant, a former NFL player, was involved in a confrontation with a teenager in a parking lot on Sunday, which was captured in a recently released video by the California Post.

The incident unfolded shortly before 1 p.m. outside a restaurant in Southlake, Texas. Bryant accused 19-year-olds Noah Reyes and Terrance Avery of “street racing” near his car.

In the footage, Bryant claims that Reyes threatened him with a gun, and he can be seen yelling at Avery to manage his friend before he takes action. At one point, Bryant swats Reyes’ phone from his hand as the teen attempts to film him.

“I’m not playing with you,” Bryant asserts in the video.

He then picks up the phone and, despite Avery’s requests not to break it, throws it forcefully onto the ground.

After Reyes retrieves his phone, the video indicates that Bryant attempts to hit it again.

“I’m fitting to f—k these little motherf—kers up,” he yells, adding, “Like, real talk.”

The altercation escalated with Bryant getting in Reyes’ face and repeatedly insulting him. At one point, he shouted, “I’ll break you down, n—a.” He expressed disregard for any legal repercussions, questioning, “You think I give a f—k about that law?”

When police arrived, one officer drew a weapon, instructing Bryant to get on the ground.

A spokesperson for the Southlake Police Department stated that multiple callers reported a heated situation that may have involved a weapon. Officers drew their firearms to ensure safety and temporarily detained several individuals during their investigation. No weapons were found at the scene.

The initial argument reportedly stemmed from a traffic incident on Kimball Avenue, where Bryant alleged that he was cut off before the disagreement escalated in the parking lot.

After the investigation, Bryant received a citation for Assault by Contact, classified as a Class C misdemeanor, and was released.

Reyes sustained a hand injury during the incident and plans to file a lawsuit against Bryant. In the meantime, Bryant claims he acted in self-defense.

He is due to appear in court on November 20 to address the assault citation.
