DHS criticizes judge for stopping the deportation of illegal immigrant sex offender

Media Sparks Debate Over Deportation Stories

Seattle radio host Jason Lantz and content creator Natalie Baysner recently discussed on Fox News @Knight the contrasting narratives surrounding President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden, focusing particularly on media coverage of deportation and protests at the University of Washington.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under Trump has criticized a judge in Massachusetts, appointed by Biden, for suspending the deportation of illegal immigrants. Allegations have emerged claiming that DHS mishandled a case involving a woman with disabilities.

DHS has pointed to a case involving Burma’s NYO Myint, who was convicted of first-degree sexual assault. Deputy Chief Tricia McLaughlin commented on Myint’s acts, stating that he had assaulted a woman with significant mental limitations.

“This individual, known as ‘Lincoln Man,’ is an illegal immigrant whom we are working to deport,” McLaughlin noted, indicating that a Massachusetts District Judge’s recent actions might complicate these efforts.

Concerns Over Illegal Immigrants Utilizing Canada as a Gateway

Experts have raised alarms over illegal immigrants from China reportedly using Canadian cities to enter the United States. In Nebraska, DHS confirmed that Myint has a final removal order as of August 17, 2023. Meanwhile, Judge Brian Murphy of Massachusetts ruled this week that Trump’s administration should retain control over eight immigrants slated for deportation to South Sudan, if their removal is deemed unlawful.

Murphy’s ruling emphasized that the government must secure custody of those deported to ensure legal compliance. Following the ruling, McLaughlin criticized the decision as “crazed,” highlighting that these individuals had already received final deportation orders.

A Mother’s Heartbreaking Message

A mother of a girl allegedly killed by illegal immigrants shared her sentiments about the trauma inflicted by such crimes. McLaughlin reminded the public of the serious offenders involved, emphasizing the risks posed by judges who prioritize ideology over victims’ rights.

The deportees included serious criminals—murderers and sex offenders—many with violent histories. This situation has sparked outrage from Trump’s administration, who claim that it illustrates judicial overreach undermining national security.

In light of the circumstances, Trump criticized Judge Murphy as out of touch with the realities of crime and public safety. He accused the judiciary of obstructing his administration’s deportation policies and urged the Supreme Court to intervene on behalf of national interests.
