Los Angeles Nightclub Raid Leads to Multiple Arrests
A recent raid on an underground nightclub in Los Angeles resulted in numerous arrests and the disruption of drug trafficking and financial operations. This was reported in a release from the Department of Homeland Security, which was only available through Blaze News.
On July 19th, agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) executed a search warrant at the El Monten Night Club as part of a broader drug trafficking investigation.
Federal agents seized drugs and related equipment, questioning and searching 66 individuals during the operation.
The DHS also confiscated thousands of re-encoded gift cards, suspected to be linked to an illicit financial scheme. ICE arrested eight undocumented individuals: six from China, one from Malaysia, and one from Mexico.
One of the detainees, Qinghai King, faces serious charges related to illegal drug possession with intent to distribute. Other individuals, such as Zedong Zhang, are charged with human trafficking or drug manufacturing. Bo Liu has been charged with possessing illegal substances, while Isaias Ramirez-Rosas faces various charges including vandalism and trespassing.
All those arrested are currently awaiting deportation proceedings.
Tricia McLaughlin from the DHS commented on the operation, highlighting the collaboration between ICE, CBP, FBI, and DEA to dismantle criminal drug activities in Los Angeles and arrest multiple illegal aliens. She criticized California’s “sanctuary politicians” for allegedly protecting criminals who operate underground clubs filled with drugs and financial fraud, asserting that under the current administration, the DHS remains committed to keeping communities safe.
