Homeland Security Secretary Christy Noem has launched in X, a new multinational, multimillion dollar advertising campaign that advises illegal aliens to self-report or deport.

“This serves as a strong warning to prevent criminally illegal aliens from coming to America. If so, they will be cornered and deported,” Noem said.
In the video of the announcement, Noem says he is bringing a message from President Donald Trump to those considering illegally crossing the border.
“I have a message from President Donald Trump to the world. If you're thinking about getting into America illegal, don't even think about it,” Noem said. “If you come to our country and you break our laws, we will drive you down. Criminals are not welcome in the United States.”
Noem has subtly referred to former President Joe Biden's weak border policy because of the rise in illegal immigration.
“For too long, weak leadership has opened our borders wide and is flooded with communities with drugs, trafficking and violent criminals,” Noem argued.
Under the Biden administration, an estimated 2.4 million immigrants crossed the US border each year between 2021 and 2024, totaling over 8 million. This unprecedented influx surpassed the historic migration boom of the Ellis Island period.
One example of these violent offenders is Josey Rose, who murdered 22-year-old nursing student, Rayken Riley, on February 22, 2024 while jogging on the University of Georgia campus. The suspect was an illegal immigrant in Venezuela and was paroleed to the US due to lack of detention under the Biden administration.
Noem added that President Trump is currently protecting Americans by stopping the flow of illegal foreigners across borders and deporting people already here illegally.
“It ended under President Trump at the time, but we are defending American families and restoring their safety,” Noem declared. “If you try to enter illegally, you will be caught. You will be removed and you will never return. Follow the law and you will find an opportunity. If you break it, you will find a consequence. Strong. The boundary means stronger America.”
Trump's border emperor reaffirmed this via X on Monday, saying that the US Border Patrol only encountered 229 immigrants across the tropical border.
Another X-Horman post states that “internal arrests for ice have increased by more than 137% under President Trump.”
