DHS uncovers a remarkable winning streak in immigration cases

Department of Homeland Security Highlights Immigration Actions

A memo acquired by Blaze News reveals that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently celebrated successes in its immigration enforcement strategy.

Shared with Republican lawmakers on Thursday, the memo outlines significant accomplishments during the tenures of President Donald Trump and Secretary Kristi Noem. Notably, the first 200 days of Noem’s leadership have seen a remarkable reduction in the foreign-born population and an uptick in enforcement and deportations.

“This is the historic launch of the largest deportation initiative in American history,” the memo states.

The memo claims that the impressive results are due to Trump’s firm immigration policies, along with Noem’s vigorous implementation, both of which focus on prioritizing American interests. “Together, they have accomplished the most effective immigration enforcement results in U.S. history,” it affirms.

The memo notes a decrease of 2.2 million in the foreign-born population since January, alongside a 1.6 million drop in illegal immigrants, labeling it “a historic starting point for the largest deportation operation in American history.”

While the population of non-citizens has declined, the number of naturalized citizens has increased. Additionally, 2.5 million Americans have found work since the beginning of the year.

These statistics back the policies initiated by the White House and executed by DHS. Actions included resuming and accelerating border wall construction, reinstating “Remain in Mexico” policies, promoting deportations, enhancing coordination with state and local law enforcement, and tightening visa regulations utilizing biometric exit tracking.

“The U.S. is communicating a strong message: who enters our country and the manner of their entry matters,” the memo reads. “This directive has come from the American public to President Trump.”
