During a follow-up congressional hearing into the assassination attempt on President Trump, the FBI revealed a startling development regarding Thomas Crooks’ social media activities.
In other words, he could have been a far-right terrorist.
The update came after the FBI discovered a social media account it said may be linked to Crooks, which left around 700 comments between 2019 and 2020 and appeared to reflect “anti-Semitic and anti-immigrant themes.”
“Some of these comments, if ultimately attributed to the shooter, appear to be extreme in nature, reflecting anti-Semitic and anti-immigrant themes and encouraging political violence,” FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate said.

“Let me just ask you: do you trust the FBI?” she asked. “Do you trust their claims of anti-Semitism?”
Gonzalez also noted that Crooks has donated to ActBlue, an organization that funds the Democratic Party, and has appeared in commercials for BlackRock.
But it’s not just Crooks’ background that makes Gonzales skeptical of the narrative the FBI is now trying to push.
“How can we trust the FBI not to run stories against us? Because this is the same FBI that’s investigating old ladies who wave American flags. [were] “We were given an escort by the Capitol Police on January 6th,” Gonzalez said.
“This is the same FBI that calls parents who attend School Committee meetings domestic terrorists. This is the same FBI that searches the homes of pro-life protesters. This is the same FBI that searched Mar-a-Lago for classified documents,” she continued, adding, “Can you trust them to not just feed you a narrative that’s against half the country?”
