Did Jeremy Clarkson break Adrian Newey’s next F1 destination?

It has been confirmed that Adrian Newey will be leaving Red Bull this F1 season. The fact that the man arguably the greatest designer and engineer in the history of the sport would soon be leaving the team sent shock waves throughout the paddock ahead of the Miami Grand Prix. Praise for Newey was pouring in from former Red Bull drivers across the hospitality industry and sparked speculation as to where he might go next.

But has Jeremy Clarkson missed out on a spot on the grid ahead of the British Grand Prix?
