Sean “Diddy” Combs’ attorney revealed the disgraced music mogul will take the stand and testify at his own trial.
Marc Agnifilo said Diddy is eager to provide his side of the story and is ready to provide details pertaining to his own defense, in a teaser video for an upcoming TMZ documentary. This could potentially be a risky move for the star, as it means he will also subject himself to being cross-examined in a federal courtroom. Agnifilo acknowledged the risk factor that comes along with Diddy being on the witness stand, but reaffirmed the defendant’s dedication to speaking for himself against the mounting allegations.
“I don’t know that I can keep him off the stand,” Agnifilo told TMZ.
“The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment” includes the full interview with Agnifilo, who sat down with TMZ’s Harvey Levin to discuss the high-profile criminal case.
Topics expected to be addressed during Diddy’s cross-examination include the video that appeared to show Diddy ruthlessly beating his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a hotel hallway, as well as the now infamous alleged “freak off” parties involving sex trafficking, drugs and prostitution. Diddy is also expected to be confronted with questions surrounding the allegation that he blew up a car owned by an ex of Cassie, according to TMZ.

Agnifilo remained firm in his position that Diddy would hold up in court, and had news to share that would significantly impact his case.
“I think he is very eager to tell his story, and I think he will tell every part of his story, including what you see on the video,” he told TMZ.
“He has his story and he has a story that I think only he can tell in the way he can tell it, in real time, and it’s a human story, it’s a story of love, it’s a story of hurt, it’s a story of heartbreak,” the lawyer added.
