Disney Channel star appeals to fans for assistance with medical expenses following his hospitalization for pancreatitis.

Rondel Sheridan, a former Disney Channel actor, made a heartfelt appeal to fans from his hospital bed on Tuesday.

Sheridan, who is best known for his role as Victor Baxter in “That’s So Raven,” was diagnosed with a serious case of pancreatitis last month and is seeking assistance with his medical bills.

“On April 10th, I was traveling and became ill. I went to the hospital thinking it was just a stomach issue,” Sheridan shared in vulnerable videos on Instagram. “After going home on the 12th, I quickly returned to the Northridge hospital, where I was told I had pancreatitis.”

The Chicago native spent nine days in the hospital undergoing extensive testing.

“I thought I was on the mend after being released, but it turned out I was just under observation,” he explained. “My pancreas is inflamed, and there’s not much I can do except wait for it to heal.”

His friend Isabel Beioso has set up a GoFundMe page to support him during this challenging time.

“I’d like to offer thanks if there’s anything I can give back,” Sheridan added. “I appreciate it all.”

Sheridan’s team has been contacted for further comments.

“Doctors are waiting to see how the pancreas responds before considering next steps. Unfortunately, he will be mostly bedridden during his recovery,” Beioso stated on the GoFundMe page.

The fundraiser has already gathered over $48,000, surpassing its initial target of $35,000.

Notably, a generous $7,000 donation was made by Kenan Thompson, star of “Saturday Night Live,” further boosting the campaign.

Sheridan appeared alongside Thompson in a “Kenan & Kel” episode back in 1998 and starred with Raven Simone in “That’s So Raven.”

He reprised his role as Victor Baxter in the spinoffs “Cory in the House” and “Raven’s Home.” Recently, according to his Instagram, he had been on tour.
