Disney Hiking Streaming Prices as Much as 25 Percent

Thanks to the Kamala Harris economy, households will be paying up to 25 percent more for Disney streaming entertainment in the coming weeks.

The Walt Disney Company announced on Tuesday that it is again increasing monthly subscription prices across its streaming entertainment services, including Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. Starting Oct. 17, the commercial-free Disney+ subscription price will increase by $2 to $9.99, a 25% increase.

The same goes for Hulu plans with commercials.

A Disney+ subscription without ads will be 14% more expensive than before, up $2 per month to $15.99, while Hulu without ads will be up $1 per month to $18.99.

The already pricey Hulu with Live TV is about to get even more expensive, increasing by $6 per month to $82.99.

Disney increased its streaming prices less than a year ago by raising the price of its ad-free Disney+ monthly subscription by 27%, from $10.99 to $13.99, causing the streaming company to lose 400,000 domestic customers in a quarter, the largest domestic customer loss to date for Disney+.

Streaming inflation is hitting American consumers hard as streaming providers like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video continue to raise their monthly subscription fees. While the goal of streaming providers recently was to pressure consumers into switching to more profitable ad-supported services, many are now fully embracing streaming bundles, which are like cable TV alternative packages designed to get consumers to pay for services they don’t watch under the guise of “savings.”

Kamala Harris has fully endorsed disastrous Biden economics, causing consumer prices to skyrocket to unprecedented levels.
