Disturbing video surfaces from Vince McMahon's 2025 car accident

Body Camera Footage of Vince McMahon’s Crash Released

Connecticut State Police have shared disturbing body camera footage showing Vince McMahon swerving his Bentley into another lane, ultimately crashing into another car while driving at speeds exceeding 100 mph in 2025.

The footage depicts McMahon abruptly braking in his Bentley Continental GT Speed just behind a BMW. He then attempted to switch into the left lane, flipped his vehicle, struck a guardrail, and hit the car in front of him, scattering debris across the highway.

After the incident, McMahon managed to pull his smoking car to the roadside. A second officer approached him, commenting on nearing 115 miles per hour during the chase. McMahon explained he was on his way to celebrate his granddaughter’s birthday, insisting he was close to an exit.

He denied any intention to evade law enforcement, claiming he saw lights but thought everything seemed normal. “I’m not trying to outrun you,” he stated, sitting in his car, which had broken windows and deployed airbags.

When asked about the crash, the officer inquired whether McMahon was distracted or had any medical issues. McMahon conceded he hadn’t driven in “God knows how long.”

Declining medical treatment, McMahon, aged 80, faced misdemeanor charges for reckless driving and tailgating, linked to the accident. He admitted he was “going too fast” and appeared visibly frustrated with himself. “Oh my god,” he expressed, calling himself an “idiot.”

McMahon later referred to the crash as a “miracle” after discovering that no one in the other vehicle was injured in the incident, which occurred on July 24, 2025, while heading north on Route 15 near Exit 15 in Westport, Connecticut.

Following the crash, McMahon was seen apologizing to Barbara Dolan, the driver he had hit. In a now-removed Facebook post, Dolan reflected on her experience, noting how she managed to maintain control of her car despite being pushed over 100 yards off the road. She mentioned that McMahon swerved at the last moment, hitting her left rear, adding that a full-force impact could have had more severe consequences.

In October, a judge permitted McMahon to enter a pretrial program under the condition that the charges would be dropped if he contributed $1,000 and maintained proper licenses and insurance.
