North Carolina State University basketball star DJ Barnes Jr. has lost an incredible amount of weight in hopes of getting drafted into the NBA.
Barnes led the North Carolina State men’s basketball team to its first Final Four since 1983 and became a national sensation with his talent, charisma and even size.
The 6’9”, 275-pound Barnes’ impressive agility and athleticism were highlighted by reporters during his team’s historic run in the annual basketball tournament after winning the ACC Championship. It got attention.
